I SO wish I would have found this video before giving birth. I’m 2 weeks postpartum and it has been the roughest experience of my life. The labor and delivery (unmedicated homebirth) was a piece of cake compared to postpartum!!

Honestly this is by far the most realistic video everrrrr. I am currently going thru exactly what u just mentioned nothing could have prepared me for this. My sis recommend this video but I'm watching it to late. I'm currently 7days postpartum and IT IS THE WORSTTTTTT. I find myself paying every second, hour, minute, millisecond of the day asking God if i was being punished fir something I did wrong simply because I never knew this is what to expect. I have a long way to go. But the smell that comes with the blood leaking is also very disgusting. The poop is the worst, I literally have to stand up and poop, stand and pee can't even sit anywhere. I can totally relate and I can't wait for this to be over. It legit feels like my insides are tearing when I try to poop. But the stitches are healing good because I do sitz bath that's with salt water and it's healing up my stitches pretty fast. I must say thank u for making this video. People surely don't talk about this ever if not enough. I don't have half of the things you've used so I've been bearing my pain without painkillers. I did try one but it didn't do well for my body. Tysm your amazing this video is helping thru my 7day postpartum journey 💜💜

When I had my fifth baby I had a planned home birth and I caught my baby. My husband was doing counter pressure and my midwife was about three minutes away, she had been there earlier but she thought it was still going to be a little while, my Mom was about 20-30 minutes away. I went from 4 cm to baby in my arms before anyone had time to do anything. My labor was super slow all day until suddenly everything was happening and then it was all over. My Mom and sister stayed with us for several days to take care of me and my older children so I could rest.

You should not use nipple cream with freezer pads. For example, Lansinoh recommends not using nipple cream and their gel pads at the same time. However, you can use lanolin between applications. You should also not use lanolin or other ointments on your breasts while using gel pads.
